When you turn on your faucet for water, do you ever wonder how it got there?
It's no easy feat, as you'll learn when our documentary “Water Works: Bringing Pure, Clean Water to Connecticut” airs tonight, at 8 p.m. on Connecticut Public Television.
Kinetic Media's John O'Neill is the mastermind behind the program (AKA director and producer), which focuses on the Metropolitan Water District in Central Connecticut, while Rosemary O'Neill worked her magic writing the script. Katie Warchut was also a producer.

We're excited to announce that "One Moment, One Image: Connecticut History Through the Eyes of a Photojournalist" has been nominated for a New England Emmy award.
The show, which was nominated under historical/cultural program or special, shows us the true power photographs have on how we experience our world. In Connecticut, those images have come from the state's news source, The Hartford Courant, which celebrated its 250th anniversary last year.
Kinetic Media's Katie Warchut served as producer/scriptwriter and John O'Neill as director.
The awards ceremony will be held May 30 in Boston.
Thanks to everyone who was part of our team, especially Marisa Finn, who both helped track down the many, many photographs featured in the show, editor Cathy Jackman, and everyone at the Courant, Editor Andrew Julien, Digital News Content Manager Sandy Csizmar and the talented Hartford Courant photographers!
