Meet Mr. Wiggles!

Our video for the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center in Mystic, CT -- starring a loveable oppossum named Mr. Wiggles -- debuted last weekend at the organization's annual gala to much acclaim. We had a lot of fun meeting the animals, walking their grounds and witnessing a release of an owl into the wild. We also got to capture some beautiful foliage shots with a drone.

The center helps an average of 125 wild birds and animals brought to them with injuries. They cover all veterinary costs, feeding, housing, rehabilitating, with the goal of re-release the animals to the wild. If you'd like to help, visit www.dpnc.org/volunteer

CT Nonprofit Conference speakers: use media to tell your stories

It was great to meet so many representatives from the nonprofit world at the CT Nonprofit Conference last week. Kinetic Media's executive producer/director John O'Neill heard a resounding message from many of the speakers throughout the day: nonprofit organizations need to tell the stories of the people they are helping.

It seems obvious that their work should speak for itself, but nonprofits need to get the word out and take advantage of the changing media landscape.

That's where video can help. Kinetic Media is reaching out to nonprofits because we want to tell great stories.

As keynote speaker and man behind idealist.org, Ami Dar, put it: compelling + concise + credible = contagious.

Let's talk about creating content that's contagious.
