Kinetic Media to produce documentary on the Newman's Own Foundation

Kinetic Media has been hired by Connecticut Public Television to produce a half-hour documentary on the Newman's Own Foundation. The foundation, started by the late actor Paul Newman, was created in the 1980s to donate all profits from the sale of Newman's Own products to charities around the world. The documentary will feature the stories of four charities that are benefiting from the foundation's largesse. The program will air this spring.

Kinetic Media video shows faces of the Connecticut Apartment Association

The Connecticut Apartment Association has so many different facets -- offering educational seminars, providing lobbying services, holding an annual trade show and more. But it's real strength is its members, which we decided to highlight in this video we recently finished; now featured on the organization's website. They were a great group to work with, as was TCORS Capitol Group. A special thanks to Krystn Ledoux and Alan Deckman.




Kinetic Media video documents a hospital's recovery after Hurricane Sandy

We love to be part of a big story. So we were excited to work on a video about the impact of Hurricane Sandy on the Hoboken University Medical Center for GE.

We documented how floodwaters crippled the hospital.The radiology department on the first floor of the hospital was under water, and its MR, CT, mammography, and x-ray equipment were damaged. The hospital was unable to see patients, and the people of Hoboken were without an option for medical care. The GE Healthcare team stepped in to help.

We were assigned the project on a Monday, shot the video on a Tuesday, and delivered the finished piece Thursday night, so that GE Healthcare could play it in a webcast to 6,000 employees on Friday morning.

Cast a vote for our Liberty Mutual video!

One of our clients, Liberty Mutual, has entered one of our videos into the Center for Corporate Citizenship's 2013 Film Festival. Affliated with Boston College's Carroll School of Management, the festival provides companies with an opportunity to demonstrate how they have utilized video as a communication tool.

The video footage was shot largely by employees themselves -- in addition to some video crews -- around the world, but it took a lot of effort to organize and edit the various formats. Thanks Jeff Young!
